In 1999 D & P Consultancy began trading as The Data Processing Centre (DPC). The core service of the business was in Data Process Outsourcing which dealt with data capture both in electronic and paper based format. The data was manipulated into a required format and integrated into a custom built database. Data access was by way of the Internet interacting with the DPC data centre or the process involved the development of a bespoke application which was then utilised by the client. Added to the portfolio in 2000 was an online Document Management System and Translations Services both were targeted at the Legal Profession to meet the demands of home ownership abroad and the growth in the EEC.

In 2001 DPC became heavily involved in the UK Online Government Initiative to support technology projects within the Small to Medium size Enterprises (SMEs) which ran until 2004. This brought DPC into contact with Business Link which is the governments business support brand in the UK providing both business advice and financial support. During this time and external consultancy support group was formed to provide specific technology advice and support to both Business Link advisers and the SME community. During this time over 1200 Internet technology project were managed by Business Link supported by the consultancy group.

In 2004 DPC changed the focus of its delivery portfolio and began to concentrate on Internet Solutions including website design & development plus Search Engine Optimisation. At this time DPC rebranded the business from the Data Processing Centre to D & P Consultancy, the acronym remained. Over the last three years DPC in conjunction with its partners in the USA have developed on of the most intuitive Website Design Solution on the market today. In 2007 DPC added a range of additional service to its portfolio the first was Domain Names were DPC provides both acquisition and management. the second addition is that of affiliate programs which have been careful selected to provide added value services to DPC clients. At present DPC offer a rounded one stop shop for SMEs who have the business objective of owning and managing and online present which represent their business.
